Northeast Harbor Pop-Up Supper

NOTE: DUE TO CURRENT HEALTH AND SAFETY CONCERNS, THE NORTHEAST HARBOR POP-UP SUPPER PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD. WE REMAIN DEDICATED TO HOSTING A SUPPER IN NORTHEAST HARBOR AND HOPE TO RE-LAUNCH AGAIN SOON. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
Starting in March 2020, Open Table MDI will be offering a pop-up supper in Northeast Harbor at the Seaside UCC Church from 4:00-7:00pm. Initially, this program will be offered on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of March, April and May. The supper is open to all.
Our suppers are vegetarian and there is always a gluten-free and vegan option available.
Eliza Bishop of Milk & Honey Kitchen will be the chef for both the Northwest Harbor and Southwest Harbor pop-up suppers.

Why Do People Come to Open Table MDI?

From the beginning, our program has been dedicated to being open to all – regardless of age, race, gender, gender identity and expression, country of origin, social-economic status, faith background, marital status and family structure, mental and physical ability, immigration status or sexual orientation. Thus, people come to Open Table MDI for a wide variety of reasons:

Where Do I Park?

The Seaside UCC Church has a parking lot adjacent to their building. There is also free parking on the street in front of the church.

Are There Transportation Options?

Open Table MDI does not currently run any transportation services to the supper.
However, from June 23rd – October 14th, Open Table MDI is easily accessible from all Island Explorer Bus routes, as we are located directly across from the Village Green.
Additionally, people looking for alternative transportation options, are encouraged to reach out to our community partner, Island Connections.

What Kind of Food is Usually Served?

Open Table MDI is dedicated to serving vegetarian meals – without the use of meat, eggs, fish or poultry. We do serve dairy. There is always a vegan and gluten-free option available at each meal. We are dedicated to sourcing local and organic food whenever possible.

FROM THE KITCHEN

Can I Bring Food to a Friend Who Can't Attend the Supper?

Yes! Open Table MDI always offers the option to get food “to-go” for someone who is unable to attend the supper. We offer compostable take-out containers on-site, but do encourage people to bring their own reusable containers, if possible.
